Grand Imperial Ballroom Wedding | University of Alberta Botanic Gardens | Shania and Meshach

Back in July I photographed Shania and Meshach’s beautiful wedding day! It was a very hot July day, but everything down to the last detail was perfect! I love photographing cultural weddings, the days are so fun!

I started with Shania at her parents house for some getting ready photos and a blessing by their pastor. Afterwards, we headed to the church for their ceremony.

After their ceremony, we headed to the university of Alberta Botanic Gardens for their formals. The Japanese gardens is my favourite spot to bring my couples!

After Formals we headed to the grand imperial ballroom for the reception. Shania had a surprise outfit change for us and I couldn’t wait to photograph that beautiful red dress!

Neerlandia Wedding Photography | Barrhead Farm Wedding | Francesca and Arden

Back in August, I road tripped down with Kristina to Neerlandia, Alberta to capture Arden and Francesca’s beautiful wedding day!

We met them at the church to capture their ceremony.

After the ceremony, we all piled into side by sides and went down to the local ski hill for formals! I wish our Edmonton ski hills were this beautiful in the summer!

Their reception was held in a white tent on their property! There was a bouncy castle for the kids and everyone drank tons of homemade lemonade!

Hay Lakes Wedding Photographer | Hay Lakes Farm Wedding Photographer | Morgan and Jimmy

On the hottest day June gave us, Morgan and Jimmy got married. I believe it was 37 degrees. Good thing the boys were not wearing a full suit!

Everything took place at their farm out in the Hay Lakes area. Both Jimmy and Morgan got ready in family farmhouses, then met back at their farm for the ceremony!

Since Covid Restrictions were still in place they had a drive up ceremony. All their friends and family attended but stayed in their own vehicles to watch the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we went to find some shade on their farm for formals. Isn’t their property beautiful!?

The reception was held in the barn, with only their closest family and friends.

After all the reception activities were completed, the sun was starting to set and the heat was starting to melt away. We stole Jimmy and Morgan for a few extra formals in the golden light before being finished for the day.

Remember a while ago when I asked for a brave couple to come explore a new location with me? Devanshi and Rushi definitely rose to the challenge! These two were so easy to photograph and didn't even complain when I got us lost and we had to do some off roading to find a trail. oops.

These two celebrated their 10th anniversary on their session day! They have been dating since they were 15, and are (finally) getting married next summer!
