Alfie Zappacosta | Edmonton Event Photography

Hello Everyone!

A few months ago, my class and I was approached to help the NAIT videography students with their final assignment. Their task was to film Mr. Alfie Zappacosta at a concert they put on February 19th at Festival Place in Sherwood Park. With the footage they were to make a documentary that would be aired on television once they were done! What they needed from us was some images to be used in his new marketing and advertising of him performing in concert. Me, being a lover of music and photography jumped at the opportunity!

The NAIT Video students did a wonderful job of putting on the concert! I had a blast shooting it with my classmate Corey (go check out his stuff here)!

Here are some of the images I captured that night!

Emily and Will | Edmonton Couples Photography

Hello Everyone!

For Emily and Will's session we were so lucky to have warm weather and lots of snow! It's a perfect combination that doesn't happen much in Edmonton, especially in the middle of February!

I had an absolute blast shooting with them!

Enjoy! And have a fabulous week!

Thesis Night

Hello Everybody!

As most of you know, last semester I worked on a project called Thesis. For those of you who did't hear about it everyday, here's what it's all about. Every year the second years in the Photographic Technology program create a series of images that relate to one overall theme. We have all semester to work on it and then in February, we bring down our friends and family to NAIT's Shaw Theatre and show everyone what we've been working so hard on.

For my thesis, I picked to do a timeline of a girl's life. From newborn portraits all the way to The End. I chose this topic, because I really enjoy Lifestyle Photography and because I thought it's really cool to document people's lives and see how they change and grow over the years.

I missed some important events, but overall I'm very happy with how it turned out! I hope you enjoy it as well!

A very big THANK YOU to my models, y'all were amazing! I also wanted to thank my aunt who let me come and use her house multiple times for thesis and when I asked her, not only did she say yes but; Yes! I'll make cookies! And to all my friends, family, my classmates, instructors, and my wonderful boy. All of who helped me and pushed me all semester so this would turn out the way it did!

Well here it is!

Emma and Sarah | Edmonton Best Friend Grad Photography

Hello Everyone!

We are soon approaching the graduation season! Both for our post secondary students and the many high school student in our lovely city.

Emma and Sarah had lovely weather for their casual grad session in Hawrelak Park last Friday! We were lucky enough to have a nice little snowstorm for their session, which proved to be lots of fun!

Best of luck next year girls!
